This is my first message on the service. Let me introduce myself. I
specialize in Victorian family history. My first book is about courtship
in the lower middle and upper working classes in England and Wales, based
on breach of promise of marriage suits. My next project is on
cohabitation in Britain between approx. 1750 and 1920. Any hints about
sources, cohabiting couples, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
I do have a question about teaching. I know it is late in the
year, so many subscribers may not have time to worry about this, but I am
teaching a class on the Reformation next semester. Has anyone else out
there done this? Can you suggest books? I know D.C. Heath has an
excellent new text, but I am uncertain about other books. Are there
source-books or books of articles?
Thanks in advance for all your help.
