Ginger,

I've used Paul Seaver's Wallington World with success to discuss
Puritanism in mid 17c. England. Wallington was a turner in London
and a compulsive journal keeper. Seaver's book examines the themes
in his writings and what it meant to Wallington to be a Puritan.
