Because of the uncertainties of staff limitations and budgets
resulting from the downsizing of the Federal government, the
symposium on "The Mississippi River and Her People" has been
POSTPONED UNTIL SPRING 1996.
We are looking forward to an exciting program at that time,
and we hope that those with related research interests will
continue to keep this program in mind. We apologize for any
