Without starting a Fort Pillow debate (unless the moderators want one
<g>), would it be possible to post a citation for 'the order "put them all
to the sword"'? My understanding is that no such order was given, by
Forrest, at Fort Pillow, at least as far as we can reconstruct 100+ years
later. If there is documenation for such an order, I'd like to know. Thanks.
