It follows in the wake of a series of lectures delivered by Rabbi Yaakov Weiner, Rosh Kolel of the Jerusalem Center for Research-- Science and Halachah which is connected with the Institute for Science and Halachah (Rabbi Y. Halpern, Director). His first lecture dealt with general topics in medicine and Halachah (euthanasia, transplants, abortion, etc.); the second lecture concerned risk vis a vis medical procedures; the third lecture, organ transplants from live donors (eg, kidneys). Printed reports are available regarding the first two lectures. The third is in preparation. * * * * * * * * * * * * The Jerusalem World Forum on Medicine and Halachah *********** We are pleased and proud to announce the establishment of the JERUSALEM WORLD FORUM ON MEDICINE AND HALACHAH.
