ROLE of the POSITION
The History Department at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the history of modern Latin America, excluding Mexico. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to teach courses at all levels of instruction and the ability to teach sections of World History are especially welcome. As a Minority Serving Institution, UNLV seeks evidence of strong mentorship of underrepresented students.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Ph.D. in history or a related discipline from a regionally accredited college or university prior to start of appointment.
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
