FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Baruch College (CUNY) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Sociology and Anthropology at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank to begin in August 2018. The department seeks applicants specializing in either religion and globalization in urban environments or the cultural impact of climate change in urban environments. Teaching responsibilities will include developing courses on religion in New York City or on the cultural impact of climate change on New York City, and candidates are encouraged to describe potential NYC-based research projects and /or courses in their application materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in Sociology, Anthropology, or Religious Studies required.
