The Rutgers Center for Historical Analysis announces a post-doctoral position for scholars pursuing research in African American History, 1940-Present. The successful applicant must have the doctorate in hand at the time of application and be no more than six years beyond the Ph.D. The position, with a salary of $60,000, is for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second. It includes health benefits and a $5,000 per year research allowance. The primary duties of this post-doc will be to administer and supervise research for the “Scarlet and Black Project” on the history of Native and African Americans in Rutgers History.
