We are seeking a professional who has the experience, interest and digital skills to mentor colleagues and guide the department in this important work.
All faculty are student advisors and are expected to be active participants in the life of the school.

In the Upper School History department our course offerings are built around essential questions and themes as much as they are based on content. We are currently in the process of introducing Digital Humanities to the history curriculum, first through a new course entitled Digital Inquiry: The History of Youth, and then throughout the Upper School curriculum over the next three years. It is our desire to reimagine our curriculum in grades six through twelve, in order to include meaningful digital projects. In grades six through ten, digital projects hosted by a variety of institutions will be integrated into the curriculum, and in grades eleven and twelve, the elective courses will require students to create their own digital projects
Trevor Day School requires three years of high school history. In grades nine and ten, students learn World History and US History. In grades eleven and twelve, students choose from a wide range of electives which include: Advanced US History, American Politics and Government, Art History, History of China, European History, Advanced European History, World History: the Holocaust and Apartheid, Latin American History, and Advanced History - Digital Inquiry.
