Bio: My BA in History is from Rutgers, my MA and PhD are from Brown, I am co-editor of The Social Fabric a reader for US history surveys now in its 8th edition. I have recently published (2000) Visions of the Western Reserve from Ohio State University Press. I have just finished a four-year stint as Founding Director of the University Center for Teaching and Learning where I helped introduce HTML and WebCT to our faculty. I am currently one of two commmunity leaders of the history e-learning community web hub for WebCT. I teach US surveys, graduate colonial seminars, a new local history seminar where students do history, and numerous other courses. |
