Bio: I have been teaching, researching, documenting and writing about working people in 20th century New York City since graduating from Rutgers University in 1984. I teach in the Graduate Program in Public History at New York University, and consult on public history projects at the Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives there. With the late Debra Bernhardt I authored, "Ordinary People, Extraordinary Lives: A Pictorial History of Working People in New York City" (NYU Press, 2000). With Henry Foner I continue to develop the LaborArts.org website. |
