Bio: Jon Hunner has lived in New Mexico most of his life and has an abiding love of the Land of Enchantment. His two monographs, Inventing Los Alamos, and J. Robert Oppenheimer, the Cold War, and the Atomic West, were published by the University of Oklahoma Press. As a public historian, he assists communities around the state in preserving and interpreting their own histories and heritages. Hunner also serves as the vice president of Bridging Ages, an international organization dedicated to using nearby history to make the past come alive. |
